Q When do the Trustees meet to review applications?
A: late June and early December
Q: What was the largest and smallest grant made last
year?
In 2006 $35,500 was the largest and $500 the smallest.
Q: What is your average grant amount?
In 2006 it was $5,050
Q: We would
like to apply for a grant. Can you tell us how much to request?
A: Most grants are in
the $1,000 to $10,000 range.
Q: If we are first-time applicants are we less
likely to receive a grant?
A: no
Q: How important is it that we
establish our tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the
Internal Revenue Code? Is it enough that we have applied for this?
A: We are unable to
consider your request unless you have established your tax-exempt
status with the Internal Revenue Service or you have exemption as a
governmental or other publicly funded entity. There are no exceptions.
